Question of the Day: Beach or Lake House?

Here is a question that has been a topic of discussion lately, if you have the day off and its 90 Degrees, blue skies, the perfect day; are you driving to a lake house or the beach? I think its very cool living in New England we have the option to do both.  There are a lot of things to consider here. Lets start with the Lake house; Parking is probably the most annoying thing about going to the beach, so when going to your own/ a friends lake house that isn't an issue, park in the driveway, no money, no hassel. One of the key points for me is having all the room for activities and the toys to play with. You can go on the boat in the middle of the lake and chill, you can go tubing, you can go on a water trampoline, ride jet skis, etc. Also tons of fun lawn games are at your dispose. Not to mention the house is right there if you have to go #2 or make some food. Lastly you can do what ever you want, drink, be loud, create a scene, its your way all day.
Now how about the beach? The beach has a pretty compelling case because it's the beach, you can just go. You don't have to know anyone with a house on a lake or etc; pack up your car and go. There is just something about being at the beach that makes it really cool. Not to mention when it's low tide and you can play bocce, polish horeshoes, frisbee, wiffleball, or be like my roommates and bring the cornhole set and ruin the bean bags by getting them wet and full of sand. The #1, hands down best thing about the beach are the girls. Every which way you look, all shapes and sizes, colors, its a field day for anyone. Just sit back in your chair, sip on a beer discretely and analyze all the fine dimes around.

It's a tough decision but for me I will take a Lake house any day of the week and twice on Sundays. There is nothing like chilling in the middle of a lake on a boat just doing random shit. Then again not everyone knows someone with a Lake house so I guess that makes me lucky? Well thats not my fault and that isn't really part of the equation for the question. so for me, Lake House= Winning.
